Checked some raptor nests yesterday in & around CVNP and
Summit County Metro Parks.
1. "Upper Merriman Nest" - active, 4th. year - RTH -  red oak
2. "Treaty Line Nest" - gone - CH
3. "Smith Rd. Nest" - active, new this year - RTH - tree unknown
4. "Bath Rd. Nest" - active, 3rd. year - GHO (has been on nest since 01/24) - sycamore
5. "Sarah's Vineyard" - active, moved from previous location - RTH - tulip-tree
6. "Wetmore Nest" - active, 6th. year - RSH - shagbark hickory
7. "Coliseum Nest" - looks inactive, no birds, not much nest left - RTH - Norway spruce
8. "Chittenden Nest" - inactive, used last year - GHO - red oak
9. "Ledgewood Nest" - assumed active, nest in great condition & bigger than last year - CH - sugar maple
10. "Boston Towpath" - active, 3rd. year - RSH - sycamore
11. "Rt. 82 South Hills" - assumed active, nest in great condition - RTH - red oak
12. "Towpath Canal Rd." - gone - RTH
13. "Hampton Hills" - gone - CH
14. "Bath Rd. Lagoon" - gone - RTH
15. "Terex Rd." - assumed inactive - RTH - silver maple
16. "Rt. 18/I-77 On-Ramp" - active, new this year - RTH - red oak
17. "Seiberling Nest" - active, nest being built - CH - white pine
NESTS YET TO CHECK:
18. "Towpath Valley View G.C." - RSH - red oak
19. "Blossom Nest" - RSH - Scotch pine
20. "Valley Bridle Trail" - RTH - sycamore
21. "Salt Run Nest" - RTH - sycamore
22. "Buckeye Trail" - RTH - white pine
23. "Wheatley Nest" - RTH - dead red oak
24. "Ghent Rd. Nest" - unknown - white oak
