Greetings!

  Just a quick note on some Salt Fork State Park (Guernsey County - Delorme 61) arrivals in the past couple of days that were noted during some botanical forays in the area.

  On Monday (03/26) the Salt Fork Osprey pair was observed on the nesting platform near the main park office, just off the main road (NR 1) near the park entrance. This is the first time I have seen the pair this spring. The female was on the nesting platform and the male was actively circling the nest and calling. The male descended to the platform twice, mating with the female each time.

  Also, on Tuesday (03/27) I encountered my first Louisiana Waterthrush of the season along Rocky Fork Road at the extreme NW corner of the park property.
