Bald Eagle nests away from Lake Erie are still a rare thing these days. In fact a categorie 3 in the conservation status in the Breeding Bird Altlas project now in it's second year. Here in Ross County, we have been blessed with up to 3 Eagle pairs nesting the last few years. I had the scope on the one near Richmond Dale this morning. One adult on the nest, and one standing guard in nearby Sycamore. Seeing them always brings a smile...

Has anyone heard how the nests south of Ross County are doing?
