I quick jaunt through the Cuyahoga Valley going north, I went by the Heronry on Bath Road and now there were about 15-20 Great Blues claiming their nest territory and in the Cuyahoga River there were at least three on the north side. I know someone reported 2 or 3 a week or so ago. I need hope on a snowy day that Spring was not forgetting us.

Also, as I was riding north on Riverview Road, south of Route 303 across from Stone Lock Quarry Metro Park in a field with deer were about 8 Wild Turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo)
pecking around heading into the woods at the edge of the clearing. I know this bird cannot be confused with any other bird, but those necks remind me of a lot of people I know.

blow softly upon you and may the GREAT
 SPIRIT make sunrise
