This is a follow-up of Bob Powell's posting. My wife and I went to Cowan before daybreak
and heard Sandhills before seeing two take off from the reeds in the East end. Then one other flew over and that was all we saw or heard. Apparently most of the group that came in last evening did not stay overnight. We did see the ten Tundra Swans on the grass in the far East end. There was no sight of the Ross's Goose.
