Hello Everybody:
Just got back (Wednesday) from the Spotted Towhee capital of Ohio (at
least for the moment)--Holland, Ohio. Wilbur Wenger, Robert Hershberger, Levi
Hostetler and two of his sons, and I set out for Holland very early this
Wednesday AM. We arrived on site at about 9:00 AM. We were not there more than 2
minutes when Levi shouted out "I got him". There that beautiful Western visitor
was, feeding on the ground, with lots of ground-feeding friends. We were,
needless to say, excited.
We would like to thank the Dixons for their gracious hospitality.
Happy Birding-- Don Plant, Perrysville, Ohio (Mohican
Country)
