Ducks and gulls still present in large numbers here. Ducks are still very
close even though there is open a lot of open water further out. I was
there around mid-morning. Birds seen were

Canvasback
Lesser Scaup
Greater Scaup
Redhead
C. Goldeneye
Mallard
Bufflehead
Wood Duck (1 Pair)
Ring-billed Gull
Herring Gull
Glaucous Gull (1 adult)
Lesser Black-backed Gull (1 adult)
Greater Black-backed Gull (1st Winter)
Bonaparte's Gull
Horned Grebe

Stopped by Kokosing Lake WLA on my way home. Backwater's are open and there
are plenty of ducks around, mallard, gadwall, woodies, ringers, scaup and
plenty of geese.
