Checked the remaining nests today:
1. "A.W.P.C.S. Nest" - new nest - active - RTH - cottonwood.
2. "Towpath Valley View G.C. Nest" - in 2004 & 2005 RSH nested in a sycamore here right along the trail. In 2006 they moved about 500 feet south into a red oak. In 2007 they moved again into a sycamore, between the first sycamore and the red oak. Active - RSH - sycamore.
3. "Buckeye Trail Nest" - status unknown - nest looks in good condition, though presently covered in snow and nest is about 65 feet up in a white pine, making it impossible to see into. Was used last year by RTH.
4. "Tamiami Trail Nest" - new nest - active - CH - red oak. Thank you to Janet Naher-Snowden, the nest being in her back yard.
Douglas W. Vogus - Akron, Ohio.
