Greetings--visits to Conneaut harbor this time of year will not produce many shorebirds. The best time would be mid-May through early June. Birds to look for now include waterfowl & allies, herons/egrets, raptors, gulls, and terns. Songbird migrants are seldom impressive there in Spring either. On the plus side, human disturbance is minimal until late May--especially when L. Erie is this cold. My advice is to bird this site on weekdays if possible, especially from June--September. Inland areas of Ashtabula Co. are usually more productive than the lakefront until late May. Later, Craig
