9:30-10:30 NW wind 1 foot surf sunny. Birds observed:

red breasted merganser- in pairs on West side of pier. Approx 30 birds in and out of the area moving W-E

horned grebe- one pair in breeding plumage with gold horns. Much nicer looking than my March 24 viewing.

Bonaparte's gull- 5-10 in plumage around pier

double crested cormorant-groups of 5-20 passing W-E



good sightings to all.
