Sightings today at Sandy Ridge:
pair of Northern Shoveler
Yellow Rumped Warbler
1 Egret
2 Sandhill Cranes/  from what I am hearing from birders there they
think there are 2 males and 1 female.  The 2 I saw today put on a
show in flight.  I have never seen them fly so much, chasing each other.
1 Great Blue Heron
American Coot
Greater yellowlegs
Caspian Tern

I have photographs of a yellow bird that is not an American
Goldfinch.  I do not know what it is. The photos were taken at Sandy
Ridge today.   If you would like to help with the I.D. the photos can
be seen at the flickr link below.  You can't miss it.  I put a
question mark above the photo.
