The Black-necked Stilt is still at Hueston Woods given about a dozen of
us very good looks at it. This was my 300th Ohio bird. Also pointed out
to me were Common Moorhen, Bufflehead, and Green Heron.

My favorite find was when I was working at Hueston Woods in the early
80's. One of my co-workers was complaining to me about some large
goldfinches chasing the other birds away from his wife's bird feeders.
He invited me to lunch to see them. While we were eating 5 or 6 Evening
Grosbeaks showed up. My only ones from anywhere.

Good Birding
