This AM the following were at the end of Mound Road

a pair of Osprey in the nest apparently doing some late adding sticks to the nest
3 Solitary Sandpipers
1 Spotted Sandpiper
1 Killdeer -the mudflat looks good and will most likely attract other shorebirds
1 Male Blue-winged Teal
1 Red-shouldered Hawk (calling)

At Spring Valley the Little Blue Heron flew over the marsh and settled in a tree-it is still playing hide and seek as was an American Bittern - both visible from the newly
repaired board walk.

What a Day Cheers, Larry Gara, Wilmington
