Birded Mohican State Forest south of Loudonville for a bit today. In the trail to the east of the
Covered Bridge there were Louisiana Waterthrush everywhere. I heard over 8 individuals
while watching 3 in aerial combat for some time. Got several good looks at 4 separate birds.
After that I went to the Gorge Overlook where there were several Pine Warblers calling. Also
saw 2 nice male Yellow-rumped Warblers as well as a few Golden-crowned Kinglets

I stopped by Kokosing WLA and birded to the west of the Lake. There were several Field
Sparrows in the area as well as Towhee. Also there was a single Ruby-crowned Kinglet, a
Purple Martin, Hermit Thrush, and two Solitary Sandpipers on the mud flats.
