Dark-eyed Juncoes are still present on the island (saw maybe a dozen in
different locations)but were joined by some new migrants yesterday.
Dorothy Maringer reported the first purple martins returned to her home on
the west shore of the island. We saw our first Chimney Swift of the year
while on an Earth Day walk. Three Hermit Thrushes were sighted also while
walking in the woods.
