Greetings!

I was unable to post this yesterday, but thought the sudden increase in migrants and numbers seen was notable, at The Wilds, yesterday morning.

Although things were very interesting on 04/21/07, the flood gates seemed to open on Sunday night/Monday morning, as things really seemed to pick-up on Monday morning.

In just a small area of the wetland trail White-eyed Vireos and Yellow Warblers seemed to be everywhere, where there was just one of each on Sunday morning.

  Other new arrivals included:

  House Wren - 1
  Yellow-throated Vireo - 1
  Warbling Vireo - 2
  Common Yellowthroat - 1M

All were very vocal and conspicuous, with the exception of the Warbling Vireos.

Did not get a chance to check on Grasshopper Sparrow yesterday, but will do so today, as I need to run research transects due to the likely hood of storms the next couple of days. Bobolinks should also be returning very soon.

  More later...

  Good birding,

  Jason
