I had a new addition to the yard list. 9 Rusty Blackbirds were working
the woods around the yard then flew into a large maple tree in the yard.
It was interesting to note how big a sound they could make as they
called from the tree. Their somewhat raucous calls were interspersed with
the more melodic note chimed in by the many White Throated Sparrows out
in the woods. A bonus bird, a Whip Poor Will also added to
the evenings repertoire some 20 minutes ago.
