Remarkably, on the same day I picked up Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (tell me how
there could be very obviously JUVENILE ybss in Ohio at this time of year!!),
I heard, and subsequently found our property-first Red-headed Woodpecker.

Might this be a record? Our property-wide woodpecker list today:

     - Downy
     - Hairy
     - Red-bellied
     - Red-headed (FOY)
     - Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (FOY, unhindered looks at a very obvious
juvenile...)
     - Pileated (seem to have a territory that abuts our property)
     - Northern Flicker

Also, recent notables, White-throated Sparrows are here in big numbers for
the past week, along with a single White-crowned (still only one, after a solid
week).

Our Red-tailed Hawk nest is bubbling with activity, as mom and dad feed bits
of rodentia to the little ones.

Oh...and if anyone is familiar with the area near MEDINA, I got decent looks
at a nearly-certain (it was being difficult) Osprey over Spencer Lake.

Surveyed my block for the OBBA-2, joining a year late, but thrilled to be
involved. Finding the open-field-dominated landscape to be quite a challenge.
