Blendon Woods is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off of Rte
161 & I 270.
Take the Little Turtle Way exit
At 2:20, Sylia Townsend (Naturalist at Blendon Woods) saw a
Golden-winged Warbler in a Crab Apple Tree on the Lake Trail. You take
the Lake Trail from the Nature Center about 1/3 mile, to a bench on the
right side of the trail. Just beyond the Bench is a Crab Apple Tree. I
also saw the Golden-winged Warbler at 2:45. After a few minutes the
Golden-winged Warbler flew into the Scrub Meadow just left of the Lake
Trail.
