Hello everyone,

If you're like me (a total warbler junkie), then you've been making every
excuse in the book to get out and take in all the warbler action that spring
migration in Ohio has to offer. I'm still waiting for my first look at a
Connecticut Warbler this spring, but the Mourning Warblers in the area are keeping
my ear to ear perma-grin firmly in place!

With so many of us thinking about warbler migration, it seems like a good
time to remind everyone to look ahead to which of these glorious birds will
stay with us to nest in the Buckeye State. On Saturday, May 19th, the Black
Swamp Bird Observatory (BSBO) welcomes Aaron Boone, from the Ohio Breeding Bird
Atlas 2, to our Lunch Lecture Series. Aaron will share information on
Ohio's nesting wood warblers and how the breeding bird atlas helps us to
understand more about breeding bird distribution and the habitat needs of our nesting
warblers.

Our Lunch Lectures begin with a light lunch at 12:30 PM and the programs are
from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Pre-registration is required by calling the BSBO
office at 419-898-4070. Cost is $7.00 per BSBO member and $10.00 per nonmember.

For a complete list of BSBO programs and events, please visit us online at
_www.bsbobird.org_ (http://www.bsbobird.org)

Thanks, and good birding (as if there's any other kind!).
