Took a quick hike around the boardwalk this morning with another
naturalist. Lot of activity, though with the model airplanes flying down at
their park, made it a little difficult to hear the birds! That being said,
we did spot a Blackburnian and heard a Blackpoll! Anyways, heres the list!

Location: DCP - Shawnee Prairie Preserve
Observation date: 5/22/07
Notes: Audio on the Blackpoll
Number of species: 19

Mourning Dove
Chimney Swift
Eastern Wood-Pewee
Red-eyed Vireo
Blue Jay
White-breasted Nuthatch
Carolina Wren
American Robin
Gray Catbird
European Starling
Northern Parula
Blackburnian Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler - Audio only: Checking for him tomorrow again!
Chipping Sparrow
Field Sparrow
Northern Cardinal
Indigo Bunting
Brown-headed Cowbird
American Goldfinch

Happy Birding to All !
