This afternoon 10 species of shorebirds were found at the Longbrake wetlands in Hardin Co. They included the following:

Semipalmated Plover  59
Killdeer  27
Greater Yellowlegs  1
Solitary Sandpiper  1
Spotted Sandpiper  7
Semipalmated Sandpiper  34
Least Sandpiper  1
BAIRD'S SANDPIPER  1
Dunlin  14
Wilson's Phalarope  3  1 pair plus a single female
also seen were:

Blue Winged Teal  22
N. Shoveler  1
Ruddy Duck  3  2males, 1 female
N. Harrier  1
Black Tern  1
Yellow Billed Cuckoo  1
E. Kingbird  3
Dickcissel  2
