Hey all -
The cooler, more northerly winds seemed to have
brought migration to a halt in this part of the state.
There were more migrants about a week and a half ago
than today. However, a single LEAST SANDIPIER was the
highlight at West Creek Reservation today. This is a
first for the reservation and highly unusual for the
site. It was working a small mudflat in the southeast
corner of the wetland. Otherwise, only six warbler
sp. were seen (Hooded appears to be on territory)
along with orioles and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks.
Good birding -
