<p>The annual spring foray of the Dayton Gem City Birders, Aullwood Spring Ornithology Class and friends was May 5 and 6.  Great two days of birding at both Tar Hollow State Park and the State Forest.  Saturday's weather was overcast with just a spit of rain, Sunday was sunshine and blue skies, but the wind was a bit strong.  </p><p>Bird sightings included:</p><p>Immature Bald Eagle</p><p>Broadwing Hawks - migrating</p><p>Green Heron</p><p>Spotted Sandpiper</p><p>Scarlet Tanagers - everywhere</p><p>Baltimore and Orchard Oriole</p><p>Vireo's - Yellow-throated, Red-eyed, White-eyed</p><p>Flycatchers - Arcadian, Great Creasted, Pewee, Phoebe, Kingbird</p><p>Warblers - Blue-winged</p><p>                  Tennessee</p><p>                  Northern Parula</p><p>                  Yellow</p><p>                  Cape May</p><p>                  Yellow-rumped</p><p>                  Black-throated Green</p><p>                  Blackburian</p><p>                  Yellow-throated</p><p>
                   Pine</p><p>                   Cerulean</p><p>                   Black and White</p><p>                   Redstart</p><p>                   Worm-eating</p><p>                    Louisiana Waterthrush</p><p>                    Common Yellowthroat</p><p>                    Kentucky</p><p>                    Ovenbird</p><p>                     Hooded</p><p>                     Chat</p><p>Gnatcatcher</p><p>Swainson's Thrush</p><p>Catbird</p><p>Thrasher</p><p>(2) Black billed Cuckoo - seen friday </p><p>and of course all the usual finds - cardinal, crow, nuthatch - etc.</p><p>Have a great spring birding,</p><p>Cris and Dave Barnett</p><p>Spring Valley, Oh</p><p />
