I'm wondering if a few folks can suggest one or two places in the Columbus
area for some beginning birding with a child. My nephew (almost age 9)
from Atlanta wants to go birding tomorrow morning (Saturday). His exact
words on arriving in Ohio were "Hi Auntie Ann, what new birds can you show
me?".

I'm thinking about either Greenlawn Cemetery or Pickerington Ponds. We'll
only have a few hours in mid-morning...

Please reply privately "off list".

Sincerely,
Ann Oliver,
Cincinnati

p.s. Ian, officially "nine" on Sunday, wants a birding field guide instead
of a "Toys R Us" gift for his birthday!
