Day off, decided to try to find the Bell's Vireo in Hilliard. Yep, at least
one is still there, flying back and forth across the trail, singing on both
sides, as many bikers and roller bladers went on by not knowing of the rare
bird that was there... nice place to see one, paved trail and all the people
already there made me felt like I wasn't bothering him too much. The bird I
did bother however was the Tree Swallows in the bluebird box nearby, diving
at my head...

Anyway, didn't stay long, I don't feel too good today and it's pretty hot,
so the only other birds I noted in the immediate on trail and in park were:

Tree Swallows and House Wrens in the Bluebird boxes, didn't see any
bluebirds.
Yellow Warbler
Song Sparrow
Red Winged Blackbird
Eastern Meadowlark (I think, didn't sing long)
Warbling Vireo
Northern Cardinal
American Robins feeding fledglings
Cedar Waxwing
Starlings and House Sparrows

That's about it, didn't really try to see/hear anything else, went to add
Bell's to lifelist.

Angela Petersen,
currently in Columbus
