We had a D.C.Cormorant this morning at Ross Lake near Chillicothe. This bird was circling over the lake for several minutes before flying off.. but acted reluctant to leave, there were fishermen out there in boats. We are a long way from lake Erie, and probably just a late bird...

Safe date for the Breeding Bird Atlas on this bird is June 1st. But I'm not ready to call it a possible breeder there..

Anyone else have sightings this far away from Lake Erie this late?
