Many thanks to all who responded to my unusual visitor post! I was amazed at how many others had unusual visitors also! I suspected there to be an insect/nectar attraction, but it was nice to hear that confirmed as it was such an odd sight! I guess it goes to show that our feathered friends can be pretty innovative when it comes to dinner time choices!

I haven't had the chance to read all the posts as my computer has decided to die a slow and painful death so I'm scrambling to save any last minute data from the last few days (OK, months!). However, I did what to send this off to say thanks before it gave out for good.

Thanks for all the many wonderful and informative posts both past and present!

Happy Birding!
