While at Oakes Quarry Park at 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, I observed two
adult Lark Sparrows feeding a fledgling.

Other notable species included:

Blue Grosbeak (male)
Prairie Warbler
Yellow-Breasted Chat
Green Heron
Brown Thrasher (singing nonstop)
Ruby-Throated Hummingbird
Many Field Sparrows with fledglings

Oakes Quarry Park is near Fairborn (northeast of Dayton) on SR 235, just
east of its intersection with I-675.
