Came up empty of shorebirds, except a few yellowlegs, at Pickerel Creek, Willow Point, and Pipe Creek this morning. They're all water or vegetation, no mudflats. Medusa is hard to see because the phragmites are tall along the road; the only birds of note there were a family of mute swans - two adults and 4 cygnets. Ugh.
Better luck somewhere else on my next outing, I hope...
  Craig Caldwell, Westlake
