Mockingbirds are fairly common around here, although the population
seems to fluctuate from year to year since we are near their northern
limit and our ocassional harsh winters seem to have short term effects
on them.

Not sure where to get cheap bulk birdfood. I usually end up with cheap
commercial stuff from Walmart of expensive stuff from Wild Birds
Unlimited.
