Tonight I drove out to Stump's Pond south of Nashville in Darke County.

1 great blue heron
7 woodducks  at least 5 were half grown young
2 least sandpipers
3 solitary sandpipers
10 killdeer
hard to count but at least 10 fledgling barn swallows
1 kingfisher
crows
redwing bb
grackles

This afternoon at Shawnee prairie, just at west edge of Greenville
6 great blue herons
1 green heron
1 wood duck
red tail hawk 1
1 turkey vulture
mourning doves lots
1 yellow bill cuckoo
chimney swift
downy and hairy woodpecker
flicker
phoebe
E. pewee
blue jay fledgling
crows
C. chickadees at least 3
tufted titmouse 2
C. wren fledgling
house wrens 4 places with at least 2 each place
ro bins lots
catbirds at least 3 places
1 brown thrasher
Common yellow throat 1 fledgling  and at least 2 others
field sparrow
song sparrows    carrying food to nest and possible fledgling
cardinals
indigo buntings 4 both male and female
red wing bb
grackle
A. goldfinches
