Saw at least two male belted kingfishers- several flyovers- on the East Branch of the Rocky River today in the area just south of the Pawpaw Picnic area at W. 130 and Valleyview Parkway- around noon, as I was looking for mussels. The kingfisher was nominated as the Rocky River Watershed mascot, but the Steelhead won!
