Hello!

I briefly visited the boardwalk from 11:50 AM-12:30 PM today.? The juvenile Red-Necked Phalarope first reported yesterday via Joe Hammond?is still present.??From the initial main stretch of the boardwalk just before it bends to the left (east), I observed it on the west shore feeding in typical Phalarope fashion in shallow water.? The juvenile Little Blue Heron was still present.? Other shorebirds observed in my short time included:

Short-Billed Dowitcher
Western Sandpiper (juvenile)
Semipalmated Plover (~6)
Semipalmated Sandpiper (many)
Least Sandpiper (many)
Lesser Yellowlegs
Spotted Sandpiper
Solitary Sandpiper
Pectoral Sandpiper (~5)
Killdeer (many)

I did not have time to scan through every bird that was present so there may be some other rarity that was missed.? Hoover Reservoir is north of Columbus in southern Delaware County.? The boardwalk is accessed via Area M of the Hoover Nature Preserve in the town of Galena.
