Visited the Boardwalk at Hoover this morning.   Saw a number of adult blue 
herons and several egrets.   A lady reported seeing Little Blue and the 
Phalarope to the S. W. of the boardwalk yesterday.   

Water levels still seem to be falling.   The 2.5 inches of rain received 
at Galena and adjacent counties did not raise the Walnut creeks and only 
dampened the mud flats for a day or so.         Gene Smith
