A colleague at work was telling me about strange behavior at his hummingbird feeders in Cleveland
Heights. The feeder is suspended from a branch of an apple tree. He has watched several birds, after
taking a drink at the feeder, fly to the apple tree and peck at the apples. He says they'll make several
holes, then hover and lick the juice. I've asked him to take some pictures.
