Many more shorebirds today. Located mostly in the grassy mudflats in the
middle of the "lake". Best viewed from the last viewing area down the long
grassy hill--not the gravel path hill.

[log in to unmask], 9 Aug 2007 17:43:47 -0400392_UTF-8 three (3) least flycatchers were observed today (08/09/2007) at mentor lagoons along the lakefront trail and a juvenile black-and-white warbler appeared at veterans' park. on monday a rather early-migrating canada warbler appeared along the lakefront loop trail at mentor lagoons. all three species do not nest in the mentor lagoons area and are the harbingers of fall migrants to come.40_9Aug200717:43:
