Hey All,

I got to go out for a walk yesterday and found a family of breeding
Trumpeter Swans. There were two adults and 4 young. At first I thought
this was extremely rare and amazing but have since found out that they
aren't completely uncommon here in Ohio. This though was not in the
western Lake Erie basin. I have sent an email to OOS to find out if
posting there location would be advisable because I know they are still
rare and protected I think. If someone here on the listserve can shed some
light on whether I should share there location with others I'd love to hear
from you. I do not want to do anything that might be harmful to the
birds. I am sorry if my vagueness annoys anyone it is not my intent. I
will post a photo on rarebird of the family in the northeast Ohio forum for
anyone interested.

Take Care All,

Matt Vosniak
