Today was brush day for our four cats. While they generally enjoy
this process, this morning they were determined to lay near the patio
door which required that I join them on the floor instead of the
couch. From that vantage point I had a spectacular view of the upper
story of the trees and was delighted to spot a Nashville warbler. We
spent about an hour, I with my binoculars, coffee and books while
they napped oblivious to the goldfinches chattering away. If you
haven't joined your felines on the floor by a window, I highly
recommend it while birds are migrating through. Hard telling what is
in the upper tree tops.
Happy birding.
