Headlands on Sunday (midmorning to early afternoon) was reasonably
quiet, with few warblers out in a stronger-than-optimal breeze off the
eastern lake. Best find for me was a first-year female mourning warbler
in some brush just before the trail reaches the breakwater.

The birding had been much better Saturday, especially with all the
shorebirds at the Cedar Point causeway already listed by Craig Holt and
Nancy Anderson. The peregrine taking a meal on the telephone pole right
next to us was quite a sight.

Good birding.
