September 1 - 10:30 - noon - Another good shorebirding day!

Stilt sandpiper - 4
Solitary sandpiper - 7
Spotted sandpiper - 5
Lesser yellowlegs - 10
Pectoral sandpiper - 4
Killdeer - 100's
Great blue herons - 20
Green-winged teal - 5 female
Blue-winged teal - 3 female
Least sandpiper - 3
Peeps, NOID - 5
Turkey vultures
Eastern wood pewee
Mallards
Wood ducks
Canada geeses
Rough-winged, tree, and barn swallows
Chimney swifts
Warbling vireo
Osprey
Cooper's hawk
Cedar waxwings

Best viewing spot for the shorebirds:
Parking area with 2 handicapped parking signs midway along main  road.  Walk
due west and follow the narrow, grassy path down to the  shoreline.  Two open
viewing spots are visible.   Shorebirds usually come within 15 ft. of the
edge.  They have been  very tolerant of close observation.
