Hi all---Nothing too great in the Lowellville area of Mahoning Co. the last couple days, but it is interesting to note what is and isn't around now.  Present are wild turkeys, turkey vulture, red-shouldered hawk, Am. kestrel, pileated woodpecker, n. flicker, red-breasted nuthatch, e.bluebirds, Am. robins, cedar waxwings, chipping sparrow, white-throated sparrows, dark-eyed juncos, and Am. goldfinches.  No accipiter has strafed the feeder birds yet.  Still no sign of purple finches or siskins here.  It seems like those finches are appearing in western Ohio much more than in the east so far.  The local killdeers have pretty much departed.  No harriers yet.  Happy Halloween, Craig
