I got back from work and found my yard in North Perry alive with birds. There were hundreds of white-throated sparrows throughout the yard. While checking through them I turned up a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW under my feeders feeding with the white-throats. It fed for about 4-5 minutes before flying up with the other birds. I was unable to relocate it. It probably was around, the sparrows were all through the yard and it could have been anywhere. Other birds at my feeders were numerous white-crowned sparrows, 2 Lincoln's sparrows, 4 eastern towhees, a thrasher, and a pine siskin. Elsewhere in the yard I found a couple orange-crowned warblers and a SEDGE WREN. there could have been other things around, there were just too many birds!
