Added a new bird to the Glen Helen year list this afternoon, when a single
bobwhite walked down the wheelchair path from our parking lot to the Glen
Helen building. The area is mature woodland, although it is next to the
manicured lawn of the bike path. Plus, we're right next to downtown
Yellow Springs.

The closest marginal bobwhite habitat would probably be the farmland a
mile or so away on the outskirts of town, but I've never seen them around
here before.

Anyone know -- are bobwhites prone to wander like this?
