At approximately 10:45 - 11:00 this morning, my husband and I observed the juvenile goshawk in the same area of Caesarcreek Lake in Warren County that was reported by Charlotte Mathena yesterday. We observed the bird along the park road leading to the beach, just past the water tower on the left side of the road as you drive toward the beach. We watched for several minutes as the bird hunted. It retreated to a tree about 150 feet from the road to eat after catching something, then returned to a tree about 50 feet from the road for excellent views.

Thanks, Charlotte - this is a lifer for us!
