Hi all,

Spent less than an hour at Delaware Wildlife Area in Delaware birding
with Jed Burtt and had a single Barn Swallow flying low over the
choppy main lake. Others in the area:

Bald Eagle- 1
Cooper's Hawk- 1
American Kestrel- 8
A fair number of American Coots in the first main pool along the dike
from Panhandle Rd. (coots reported by Jack Stenger)

Also, on Thursday, in the large lake where the Barn Swallow was, we had:

Canvasback- 1, beautiful male, flew right past
Ring-necked Duck~ 40
Green-winged Teal~ 25

So the ducks are starting to come in.

Good birding,
Sean
