We stopped by two areas of the Ponds this afternoon between 4 and 4:30.
At the Wright Road area we saw only a few mallards off in the distance.
We went to the south Bowen Road area and had similar luck -- one GB Heron
and a few mallards. Any ideas as to why? I would think there would be
quite a few waterfowl this time of year, along with at least some shore
birds. Sharon
