Good morning,

It was extremely foggy when I first arrived at Spring
Valley NP, but was able to eek out (and even got a
couple of decent photographs) some observations:
2 Pied-billed Grebe
2 Belted Kingfisher
3 Downy Woodpecker
1 Northern Flicker
4 Blue Jay
7 American Crow
3 Carolina Chickadee
2 Black-capped Chickadee
3 Tufted Titmouse
1 White-breasted Nuthatch
2 Carolina Wren
9 European Starling
3 Palm Warbler
2 Song Sparrow
7 White-throated Sparrow
1 Dark-eyed Junco
4 Northern Cardinal
2 Red-winged Blackbird
3 American Goldfinch

I headed to Ceasar Creek SP, down to the beach, and
about 5 minutes after Larry left, a Greater Yellowlegs
landed on the beach and stayed about 10 minutes --
long enough for some decent photos. The gulls were
still there and I got some photos, there, too -- need
to post them, at some point soon. Observations:
4 Turkey Vulture
1 Cooper's Hawk
1 Killdeer
1 Greater Yellowlegs
7 Bonaparte's Gull
~15 Ring-billed Gull
1 Belted Kingfisher
3 Blue Jay
5 American Crow
3 European Starling
2 Northern Cardinal
2 American Goldfinch

Happy birding,

Phil
