Blendon Woods is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off of I
270 & Rte. 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit. Here is a list of some
of the birds seen at Blendon Woods this past weekend.
 
      Thoreau Lake
          Great Egret
          Great Blue Heron
          Belted KIngfisher
          Gadwall-2 male, 4 female
          Wood Duck-2 male, 2 female
          American Black Duck-49
          Pied-billed Grebe-2
          Northern Pintail-male, non-breeding plummage
          American Widgeon-2
          Red-breasted Nuthatch
          White-throated Sparrow-3
          Cooper's Hawk
          American Widgeon-female
          Carolina Wren
          Mallard-6 male, 3 female
