Hi all,

I got my dates mixed up. The Yellow Rail was seen Oct 1-2 (Sunday-Monday). I'm not sure if it's still around.

I called the Bobolink RBA (330-763-5119) which covers Wayne, Holmes, and surrounding counties. There is a Yellow Rail at the Melven-Troyer Farm. From Lexington take 546 south 5-6 miles and turn right onto Woodbury Rd. Continue to the 2nd crossroad which is Algire Rd. The Farm is located at the SW Corner of this crossroad. Stop at house for further directions. It has been seen yesterday and today (Mon-Tues). At the same location there has also been a Nelson’s Sharp-tailed Sparrow and a Sedge Wren.
